Our Philosophy
We approach gifting as strategy, storytelling, and sensory design, not transactional packaging. Every Sapphaster curation begins with understanding intention: Who is this for? What should it say? How should it feel when unboxed?
From there, we translate emotion into visual and tactile language, through form, texture, composition, and detail.
Because true luxury isn’t loud.
It’s precise..It’s felt..It lingers.
Our Story
Sapphaster is a Lagos–based luxury gifting house, built on the belief that gifts are not objects, they are emotional experiences. Our journey began in 2020 with one moment that changed everything.
Fimidara — someone who always delighted in surprising those she loved — ordered a birthday giftbox online. What arrived was underwhelming. Plain. Careless. Far from what was promised. Instead of complaining, she rebuilt it from scratch. Overnight.
And that single moment revealed a gap:
Gifting wasn’t broken — execution was.
From that night, what started as Porpul Petals soon grew into a sought–after brand trusted by corporate leaders, romantics, families, top brands, and high–net–worth individuals across Nigeria and beyond.
Today, reimagined as Sapphaster — inspired by sapphire and aster, symbols of depth and new beginnings — we have evolved into a house of elevated gifting experiences.
We source globally, curate intentionally, and design like luxury fashion — with precision, narrative, and emotion. Every box, every stem, every detail, nothing is random.
